Bin by Bin runs in the browser on the same account and inventory. It shows every room, your pinned bins, the counts, and a column for what needs attention. If you keep more than one home, each gets its own inventory, and you can read one home on its own or all of them together. Add bins, edit items, upload photos, and run Smart Scan straight from the dashboard.
What it does
Smart Scan
Photograph a bin and it fills in the name, description, and tags: one item or the whole shelf in a single shot. You correct what it got wrong instead of typing from nothing.
Smart Search
Search the way you talk. Semantic search over everything you own. "Green Christmas hanging" finds the wreath, even though you filed it under door decorations.
Rooms, bins, then items
Three levels, the ones your house already has: rooms hold bins, bins hold items. Photo grids, pinned bins, and per-room color so the garage never looks like the attic.
Loan tracking
Note what went out the door and to whom. Due dates turn into reminders, so your tools and dishes come back.
Dates that matter
Warranties, expiries, and service dates become local reminders: no notification server required.
Host it yourself
The same app runs against a server you run yourself: a NAS, a mini PC, or anything else that runs Docker. Your photos and your inventory stay on hardware you own.
